Is it really FREE?

Yes. This site is 100% FREE. Post ads, browse ads, and respond to ads, all for free. There are no fees or commissions.

Do I need an account?

No. You do not need an account to post ads, browse ads, or respond to ads.

However, if you are planning on posting frequently (real estate agent, dealer etc.) we would recommend signing up for a free account for your own convenience!

How do I post an ad?

Simple: Click on "Post FREE Ad" and start posting!

How do I edit or delete my ad?

Locate the email that we sent to you after you posted your ad. In that email, use the link that we provided to edit or delete your ad.

If you registered with us, you may be required to login with your password in order to edit or delete your ad. In that case, click on "My account" link, locate your ad and click 'Edit Ad' or 'Delete Ad' links.

Where is my ad?

From the home page, click on the category that you chose while posting your ad. Make sure you are browsing in the correct geographic location. You may change it on the home page in the right side bar. Click "All Cities" link to browse through all locations.

How do I search for ads and sort the results?

    SEARCHING

  1. Use search field on top of every page, where you can enter your keywords and search for:


      2. (a) ANY keyword in ad,

      Example: "House in Layton", will find every ad containing either "House" or "Layton" or both in any order.


      (b) ALL keywords in ad,

      Example: "House in Layton", will find every ad containing both keywords "House" and "Layton" in any order.


      (c) EXACT phrase,

      Example: "House in Layton", will find every ad containing exact phrase "House in Layton".


  2. Alternatively there might be also a subcategory specific searching fields, such as - price or year range, make or model, etc. Those fields could only be viewed and searched from within the subcategory.

    Example: Go to "Vehicles/Cars&SUVS" and you will see Make, year range and price range search fields, besides the main keyword field.

  3. On category or Subcategory view, you can arrange/sort search results by clicking on the titles of the rows displayed. By default ads are displayed "by Date".
    Example: Click on Views (in category mode) to sort ads by popularity. Click again to change the sort order..

How do I add or remove pictures?

Locate the email that we sent to you after you posted your ad. In that email, use the link that we provided to edit your ad.

If you registered with us, you may be required to login with your password in order to edit your ad. In that case, click on "My account" link, locate your ad and click 'Edit Ad' link. You can add new pictures or remove existing ones. Each ad can have up to five pictures.

How many times can I post?

Please do not post the same ad more than once in 48 hours. Please do not post the same ad in more than one city or category. Duplicate ads may be removed without warning. There is no limit to the number of new, unique ads you can post.

Who will see my ad?

If you post your ad in particular location, the ad will be visible to everyone browsing or searching that location, the state level and the country level. However, if you do not specify a location, the ad will only be visible to people browsing on the state and country level.

How will people contact me?

  • By e-mail, if you chose the option to show it publicly.

  • By sending e-mail through contact form, if you chose the option to use contact form.

  • By phone, if you provided your phone number in your ad.

    • What if I forgot my password or deleted your email?

    Go to our "Forgot your login or password" page to have your password or login info emailed to you.

    Or use "Resend Links" page to have the system resend the links to any ads, events and images still active in our database

    How do I respond to an ad?

    Go to the ad and use 'Contact this User' form. Type your name, email address and message, then click 'Send Now'.

    Or use e-mail, web or real address or phone number if available.

    Can I put a link in my ad?

    Yes. Just type or copy your full web address.

    Will my ad show up in my local newspaper?

    Not at present. This site is not affiliated with any printed publications at this time.

    You will see a notice when publishing your ad, if it will be submited to some other sites or printed media.

    How do I verify my email address?

    Follow the link that we provided in verification e-mail.

    Can I put YouTube video in my ad?

    Yes. Copy and paste FULL URL of the video into the "YouTube video" field. Press "Insert".

    How do I avoid scams and fraud?

    Please understand that this website is a freely available service to help buyers and sellers (and etc.) find one another. It is not involved in any transactions and can not police the actions of our many users.

    Here are some tips to avoid fraud on this site or anywhere on the Internet:

    • Deal with people in your area.
      The vast majority of scammers will contact you from another country or somewhere far away. The best way to avoid scams is to deal locally, in person.

    • Do not wire funds (via Western Union, etc.).
      If you are asked to wire funds, you are talking to a scammer.

    • Beware of fake cashier checks and money orders.
      Fakes are common and banks may even cash them. But when the fraud is discovered you may be liable.

    • Never share your private info.
      Anyone asking for bank account numbers, login info, or social security is a scammer.

    • Avoid shipping and escrow.
      Scammers commonly employ fake, online escrow services.
